How are sounds created? What is a soundwave? How did scientists in the past make discoveries about sound? Explore the science of sound by conducting fun experiments and looking at the instruments which past scientists used in their studies of acoustics. The workshop is based on the fantastic exhibition Making Waves: Innovations in the Science of Sound, showing at the Gateway Galleries, University of St Andrews from 15 March - 17 May.
